Basic Puppy Information

Health Guarantee:

Puppies do come with a health guarantee.  I have a contract available, just click on the link and return it with your deposit. Puppy Contract

Vaccinations:

At 4 weeks, puppies will have been given their first round of NeoPar (Parvo Only). Your puppy will be sent home with a vaccination record. You should plan on visiting your vet within 48 hours of pickup to identfy what their recommended vaccine schedule is and to start your puppy on it.

Deworming/ Flea Control:

Puppies will be dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks with Safeguard. Safeguard is very safe for the puppies.  Worming at 2 weeks is critical even if the dam is worm free.  Worm larvae can be encysted in the dam and passed thru the placenta to the puppies.  I use Bravecto for flea control on everyone except pregnant mamas.  The pregnant ones receive monthly Advantage.

Payment Options:

I accept cash or payments thru Gooddog.  I prefer deposits be paid using Gooddog as it helps me keep all my paperwork in line. If picking your puppy up, I prefer the remainder in cash. If shipping, please pay the remainder thru Gooddog or I can send you an invoice thru Paypal or we can Venmo. Puppies must be paid in full including shipping before they leave.

Shipping:

**In the interest of saving my time, actual shipping quotes will NOT be obtained until a deposit is paid. There are price ranges given below.**

I have shipped all over the country from Maine to California and Washington to Florida.  I have also shipped out of the United States to Canada, Columbia, Brazil and Puerto Rico. There are a couple options depending on your location. 1) Ground Transport 2) Flight Nanny 3) You can fly to pickup your pup at our local airport 4) Cargo. Each has its pros and cons. The following is a little more in depth on each process.

  1. Ground Transport – This is a door to door service. Your puppy is picked up from me and delivered to your door. Depending on the distance, this might take 12 hours or it might take several days. Your puppy is with a driver the entire time and is fed and watered and cared for by this person. There will be other puppies picked up and delivered along the drivers route so this is not an solo trip. Because of this, arrival times can vary. If one person is late, the rest of the route is late. Or if there is one accident on the interstate and the driver is stuck in traffic, the rest of the route is late. With ground transport, your timing needs to be very flexible. Sometimes this option is cheaper than flying cargo and sometimes not. Location and how many other puppies can be delivered along the route is what determines the price. So for an accurate estimate, I have to contact the transporter to get a quote. Normally, it is between $400-$1000, totally depending on where you are located.
  2. Flight Nanny – I have limited experience with this option. It is typically too expensive, ranging from $700-$1200, and not many people go this route. This is an in cabin flight with a “nanny”. Your puppy will be flown in the cabin as a carry-on luggage bag. You will need to pick up your puppy at the airport. It is usually an overnight trip for the puppy as most flights leave very early and I am too far from the airport to make the drive and the flight that early. If interested in this option, I will have to get a quote as well.
  3. Lots of times, it is cheaper for you to fly yourself to our nearest airport and pick up you puppy yourself. I am happy to meet you there no charge. Nearest airport is Huntsville, AL (HSV)
  4. Cargo is something I am really not comfortable with. Not saying I will not do it but I prefer other methods.
